HOW WE SUPPORT YOU

Our approach to recruitment and selection is quite unique because we follow a thorough process of assessment. We test each candidate in the areas of job function they are being recruited for and further use personality assessment tools to determine the suitability of their personality to the job function and to the culture of the company they are being recruited for.
We also approach executive search and selection from a holistic stand point. We look beyond the immediate task of recruitment to assist you consider the entire HR Management of the staff to be recruited, at the time of recruitment. This means that we consider how you will train, motivate, supervise, reward and retain the candidates and ensure that staff recommended for hiring fits into your HR plan.

PROFESSIONAL RECRUITMENT PROCESS
• BOS obtains a written brief from prospective client
• BOS obtains a job description and Talent specification from prospective client
• BOS agrees final job description and Talent Specification with prospective client
• Client commissions BOS to start recruitment
• Application and vacancy announcement format is designed and agreed
• Job advertisement is placed
• Applications are received and reviewed
• Candidates are shortlisted for stage 1 interviews/assessment
• Results are reviewed and second shortlist drawn up
• Second stage of interviews
• Final list and recommendation sent to client for client interviews
• Client decides and makes offer to selected candidates
DURATION OF RECRUITMENT SERVICE

We always seek to exceed our clients’ expectations when it has to do with quality of talent and duration for recruitment. Our standard duration from when we are commissioned to the time of forwarding of our final list to the client is three (3) weeks.

DATABASE SEARCH

You pay 10% of the total average annual gross pay per candidate as itemized above if candidates are found through our data base search. We will commence our search upon receipt of your upfront payment of 75%, the balance of 25% will be paid upon conclusion of the recruitment.

STRATEGIC HEAD HUNTING

This is a situation where a demand is made on us to go outside our data base to source or poach preferred candidates with certain unique skills or experience, if candidates in our data base do not match requirement. Cost of advert placements at the prevailing rates is borne by the client. Our professional fee is 15% of total average gross annual salary.

OUR RECRUITMENT GUARANTEE

If payment of our balance is received within three days of invoice date and not later than 3 days after a maximum of 3 candidates per position has been submitted for your evaluation and final selection, you will be entitled to the 6 month guarantee as set out below, namely:
In the event of the applicant resigning, termination of service by mutual agreement or dismissal of the applicant (in accordance with labor law), we shall provide a replacement at no additional cost provided that:
a) Client paid for an advertised recruitment to guarantee the widest possible search
b) Within the guarantee period of 6 months, we are notified in writing thereof within 24 hours of such event
(c)We are afforded a reasonable opportunity and time to replace the applicant
(d)We are provided with the appraisal documents with which the candidates was appraised if terminated for non performance.
The above guarantee will not apply to retrenchment, unfair labor practices, change of job description, change of employment terms, change of Talent specification or company relocation, leave for maternity issues.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Our fees are payable as follows:
On commissioning:
(a) 75% of the total fees for all the position being recruited
(b) News Paper Advert costs – (100% upfront).
On conclusion:
(c) 25% of the total fees
(d) Re-imbursable out of pocket expenses (if any)
